CHBC-TV is the Okanagan’s Very Own television station, with studios located in Kelowna, and Bureaus in Vernon and Penticton, British Columbia. The main transmitter is located northwest of Kelowna operating on channel 2, and is carried on channel 13 by Shaw Cable. Due to the mountainous terrain several rebroadcast transmitters are required to distribute the CHBC signal throughout the Okanagan.
