Unsolved: HIT AND RUN

Kelowna RCMP members continue to search for the suspect in a hit and run occurring on April 11, 2021.  A 14 year old boy was struck by a vehicle while skateboarding north on the 800 block of Thompson Road in Kelowna at approximately 10:00 p.m.  Apparently the boy was heading north on Thompson when he was hit by what he believes to be a dark coloured Ford sedan driving southbound.  The vehicle failed to stop, but a local resident heard the accident and helped the youth by calling an ambulance, which took him to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  The suspected sedan could have front end damage.  If you have any information on this file, please contact Crime Stoppers anonymously or contact Kelowna RCMP.
